InstructionsBackground: Assume you are taking an introductory IT course and you need to keep track of your grades earned in the class. You need to know the name of each grade item, the category the grade falls into (labs, exams, etc.), and the grade you’ve earned if any. You also need to know the due dates for each assignment, as well as the date you received the grade on the assignment. The syllabus tells you how each grade is recorded (percentage, points, pass/failed. etc.).
Create a Microsoft Word document and title it with your name, the current date, and “IT 1130 – Database Design Lab.” Next, state the name of the database table you will use to record your grades and, below that, list the fields included within the table. For each field, specify the field name, data type, and whether or not it is required. Lastly, select or create a field to use as the primary key for the table. Mark the primary key field with an asterisk (*) in the field list.
Save the Word Document using the naming convention “Name_Database_Design.docx”, replacing “Name” with your first and last names, separated by an underscore (_).
Attach the Word document to this drop box and submit.
